Technology changes the recruiting process

A recent article in the Herald Tribune described a new tool for college coaches to use while recruiting student athletes, shedding light on just how much the recruiting process changes from year to year.

 

In response to the recent NCAA recruiting regulation banning Head Football coaches from visiting prospects during the spring evaluation period, commonly referred to as the “Saban Rule,” college coaches have started using web cams to contact and build upon the relationships they have started with recruits.  This is a perfect example of how recruiting changes from year to year. Student athletes and families need to stay on top of and take advantage of these types of changes or risk being left behind in the process.
